Getting Familiar

I upgraded to WordPress 2.3.1 and my permalinks stopped working. After undoing and redoing the upgrade and messing with the .php code a little, I did a google search and discovered that Yahoo’s “Permalinks” plugin doesn’t work with Wordpress 2.3.1, however, someone at WordPress wrote a one-line plugin that works around the problem in a not-ideal solution, but it works. Here’s why the problem exists.
I’m realizing that in order to maintain an effective blog, I will probably need to learn some programming languages (php, html, sql, etc.)
