Article Summaries

I just discovered that by changing the word “content” to “excerpt” within the bowels of the index.php file in Wordpress, I could make it so that the archive pages show summaries of the current articles, instead of showing the entire articles.  Then you can click on the titles to go to the individual article pages.  The practical upshot of which is, for you the viewer, you can now scan your eyes down the page and see at a quick glance what the articles are about.  You no longer bear the burden of scanning the entire articles in order to reach the next one.  Way cool.
