    And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. Deuteronomy 6:6,7 (11:18,19)

    Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear יהוהyour God, and observe to do all the words of this law: And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear יהוה your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it. Deuteronomy 31:12,13

    And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 32:46

    Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

    He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes. Proverbs 13:24
    Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell. Proverbs 23:13,14

    Children’s children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers. Proverbs 17:6
    The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice. Proverbs 23:24,25

    He that begetteth a fool doeth it to his sorrow: and the father of a fool hath no joy. Proverbs 17:21 (17:25, 19:13)

    For I was my father’s son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother. Proverbs 4:3

    One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. 1 Timothy 3:4,5,12

    If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. Titus 1:6

    That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, Titus 2:4

    And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4 (Colossians 3:21)

    But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs. Matthew 15:26 (Mark 7:27)
